As a distinguished independent filmmaker, Ramfis has been invited to speak at venues around the globe, including, The 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where he spoke to screenwriters and filmmakers about independent film financing, properly setting up your production company in order to receive investor’s money. He shares his knowledge about the dos and don’ts of film financing and best practices for pitching your project to independent film financiers, potential partners, and all the other gatekeepers.

Ramfis was also a guest speaker at The ABC's of Independent Film Finance and DistributionStorytelling And Civil Liberties, and Transferring Youth into College at SXSW. He has also spoken at The Business of Filmmaking and Youth Film Day at Hofstra University for his second year in a row as well as a Talk Back on Film Finance at NYU's Stonestreet Studios. He has most recently been granted a request to speak at Cannes Film Festival, Penn State, and Columbia University in the Fall of 2019. 

Ramfis aims to inspire and empower the youth and upcoming creative minds, especially those interested in the entertainment industry and want to learn filmmaking and how to make a movie. He aids and encourages those who are starting out and intend to help them jumpstart their projects.
